JFE Steel seeks USD 200 a tonne price hike in Q2 Asian deals 03/03/2010
TEX reported that JFE Steel is contemplating seeking a price increase of USD 200 per tonne or more when the company enters negotiations on its export deals of sheet products for shipments to Asian destinations in the April to June 2010 quarter.
ArcelorMittal SA to keep price unchanged for March 2010 03/03/2010
ArcelorMittal South Africa has confirmed that its steel prices would remain unchanged in March 2010. This was the fourth consecutive month that it had decided to roll over its prices, which meant that domestic price levels remained identical to those set back in November 2009.
